When I started
I started my fitness by the age of 7.
How I started
I got started by my cheer & dance classes.
Why I love it
I love fitness work because it doesn't only help you with cheerleading. It can help you with other sports and it's good for yourself.
How I stay motivated
I stay motivated by exercising atleast 1 or 2 days a week. Every morning in Dance class we condition for Competition.
I have accomplished my flexibility and my muscles.
Fitness keeps me busy when not cheering, dancing or gymnastics. It calms me down and relaxes me. I'm comitted to fitness work because I take it seriously and actually want to accomplish more every time.
I started cheerleading when I was 7 years old at Pike High School in a dance & cheer clinic.
I got started by The Dance & Cheer Clinic bringing in posters advertising the event while in elementary school. I brought home the information to my parents and they signed me up.
I love cheerleading because I'm good at it. I learned new things in many spots. I have a chance to perform and show people such as my family and friends what I'm good at. I also make new friends while being on the teams.
I stay motivated by stretching and conditioning every once in a while especially before an upcoming game or performance. I love to sign up for cheerleading competitions and school teams. I like being in both teams at same time so I can stay busy.
My biggest accomplishments in cheerleading is my atittude. How to become a leader to my school. How to represent myself, team, coach and if so school. I learn how to do more advanced skills such as tumbling and stunting.
I have spirit while at practice, games and performances. I don't give up if I don't get it the first time. I keep trying even if it takes a while. I like to support myself and my team by not putting them down, but by supporting them and complimenting them. Telling them not to give up and also help if possible.
I started gymnastics 2 years ago.
I started gymnastics because of my cheer coach. She gave us an help by letting us know how to learn tumbling. She gave the team to information about to class.
I love gymnastics because I learn new tricks everytime I go. I have a good trainer also and I try hard enough so I can easy learn things.
I stay motivated by going to every practice and even practicing at other places outside of class like cheer practice, outdoors or indoors. Anywhere with extra space I like to practice when Im bored or if I need to get something right.
I accomplish a lot of new tricks each practice. With a good tainer I have learned 6 different tricks in 1 year.
To learn something new I always put 100% in everything I do. Helps me learn better and faster. It sometimes keeps me from hurting myself.
Standing and Running tumbling.
